300 Hat Project - August 28

Colleen (knitting blog: Rabies on My Shoe) and Kristy (blog: Ok What Next) are having contest for a cause. Kristy will be going to the Ukraine in September to work with an orphanage for special needs children, and their hope is to bring each child a warm, handknit hat.

For details on how to participate, check out their 300 Hat Project page. Basically, for every hat you knit and donate, you'll be entered into a prize drawing. You'll also be entered into the drawing for each time you post about it on your blog. The prize has been donated by Kristy's LYS, Hooks and Needles.

Deadline: Hats must be received by August 28, 2008. The prize drawing will be in mid-Sept
